2013 Netball NSW State Dinner Awards

Netball NSW held its 2013 State Dinner on Saturday night at the Anne Clark Centre in front of almost 400 members of the netball community.

Stay tuned to www.netballnsw.com next week as we place a spotlight on the winners and award recipients from this prestigious evening.

The 2013 State Dinner was held on the courts of a transformed Anne Clark Centre, the home of Netball NSW for the past 34 years.  This will be the final State Dinner before Netball NSW moves to its new centre of excellence in Sydney Olympic Park during 2014.

“It was only appropriate that we held our marquee function inside the walls of the Anne Clark Centre,” said Archer.

“This facility has played a significant role in the development and history of netball in New South Wales.”

“To have the NSW netball community come together in celebration of our sport was a fitting way to say goodbye to the Anne Clark Centre.” Archer concluded.   The Netball NSW State Dinner is a celebration of the sport in the State throughout the 2013 season. In addition to acknowledging the performances of the NSW representative teams at the National Netball Championships, Australian Netball League and ANZ Championship, a number of individuals were honoured for their achievements during 2013.
