The sun shone bright in Charlestown last week as the 2016 Koori Games took centre stage on Friday and Saturday, 28-29 October.

The event – put on by the NSW Government’s Department of Sport and Recreation, hosted and delivered by Charlestown Netball Association and supported by Netball NSW – was attended by communities from across the State to celebrate a passion for netball, family and Indigenous culture.

This year’s event was the 17th edition of the tournament and it attracted 71 teams across seven divisions with ages ranging from 12/Us, 15/Us, Mixed Opens and Ladies Opens.

Netball NSW would like to congratulate everyone who took part, especially the winners and runners up.
