Excitement builds around Waratah Cup

DOOLEYS State League Waratah Cup is BACK for another year, with the 2014 season set to be one of the closest competitions yet.

Eight Associations will compete for the title of 2014 Champions, with 14 round robin matches to be played before the top four contest finals … and it all begins this Wednesday 19 March!

2013 Runners-Up Sutherland Shire will open the season against 2014 Waratah Cup newcomers City of Sydney / Sydney Uni at 7pm, while Newcastle will take on a new-look Manly-Warringah in the same timeslot.

Following the two opening games, defending Champions Eastwood Ryde will begin their campaign to retain the title against St George, while the other new Waratah Cup faces – Liverpool City – will meet Baulkham Hills, with both games starting at 8:30pm.

There is plenty of on-court action for netball fans to see some of the best NSW talent on show at the Anne Clark Centre, with Waratah Cup running from this Wednesday 19 March to Wednesday 23 July, where the 2014 Champion will be decided!

So come down on Wednesday evening – entry from $4 Adults and $2 Child/Concession, as well as Season Passes on offer.
