Who those teams will meet in the race for the 2013 title will be decided this weekend when Divisions Five to Eight contest their Preliminary Finals on Saturday 7 September.

DIVISION FIVE

After falling short to Hills District in the Major Semi Final, 41-35, City of Sydney/Sydney Uni will have another shot at making the Grand Final when they meet Baulkham Hills at 4.30pm. City of Sydney has the wood over Baulkham Hills, defeating the Hills-side twice earlier this season (Rd 1, 41-37; Rd 13, 55-43). However Baulkham Hills have momentum on their side after defeating Bankstown City 44-37 in the Minor Semi Final last weekend.  Anything can happen come the Finals, and it will be the last chance for either of these sides to feature in this year’s title decider.

DIVISION SIX

Wollondilly and Parramatta Auburn will meet in the Preliminary Final at the Anne Clark Centre, taking the court at 3.00pm.  Both teams have enjoyed a win over the other during the 2013 season; first Wollondilly at the very beginning of the season in Round 1 (45-32), before Parramatta Auburn enacted their revenge in a thrilling Round 10 win (34-33).
Having both featured in tight Semi Final contests – Wollondilly going down by six against Hills District and Parramatta Auburn overcoming Ku-ring-gai by four – the Preliminary Final is sure to be a tight contest.

DIVISION SEVEN

Just five goals separated Sutherland Shire and Hills District in their two games this season, with Sutherland enjoying a slim one goal victory in Round 8 (41-40), before Hills District turned the tables in Round 17 to win by four goals (51-47).
Whichever team comes out on top will meet Illawarra in the Grand Final, with all to be decided after the Preliminary Final at 1.30pm on Saturday.

DIVISION EIGHT
Sutherland Shire came agonisingly close in the Major Semi Final, with Blue Mountains taking honours, 41-39, to book their spot in the Grand Final Monday week.  After finishing the regular season in second place, Sutherland has another chance at the title decider when they meet Inner Western Suburbs in the Preliminary Final this weekend.
Inner Western Suburbs have enjoyed a strong finish to the 2013 season, including a 23 goal Semi Final victory over Penrith.  With both sides enjoying wins over the other earlier in the year it sets up a thrilling knock-out final to kick-start the action on Saturday at 12.00pm.
