NEWCASTLE CLAIM INTER-REGIONAL CROWN

Newcastle have been crowned the 2014 GrainCorp Inter-Regional State League Champions, coming from behind to defeat defending Champions Orange, 45-38, at the end of two fantastic days of netball action at the Anne Clark Centre yesterday, Sunday 28 September.

OCEANIA CUP WRAPS AFTER RECORD YEAR

The 2014 Oceania Netball Cup saw a record number of participants with 42 teams joining in the fun. Teams travelled from all over the State; from Barellan to Nowra… we even had some visitors from the Australian Capital Territory and Tonga!

NSW SWIFTS SOAR TO NEW HEIGHTS

Last week the NSW Swifts reached an incredible milestone by surpassing 2,000 Members for season 2015, exceeding the Club’s previous Membership record of 1,676 by a mammoth 20%, with still five months until the opening game of the new ANZ Championship season.

  DIAMONDS PREPARED FOR COMMONWEALTH GAMES RE-MATCH2015 NSW Swifts Julie Corletto, Kimberlee Green, Sharni Layton and Caitlin Thwaites plus NSW junior Kimberley Ravaillion, have flown to New Zealand as they prepare to take on the Silver Ferns on Thursday night (2 October) in the first Constellation Cup fixture of 2014, which includes a match at Sydney’s Allphones Arena on Saturday 11 October.

2014 NETBALL NSW SCHOOLS CUP CHAMPIONS CROWNED

The 2014 Netball NSW Schools Cup culminated on Tuesday 16 September, with the State Champions decided at the Anne Clark Centre.

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School from the Hunter Region were crowned the Years 5/6 Mixed Division Champions, while Sydney Metropolitan schools The Hills Sports High School and Xavier College Llandilo took out the Years 7/8 Girls and Years 7/8 Boys Divisions, respectively.
