From school to Swifts for teenage star

Netball prodigy Lauren Moore will be the baby of the NSW Swifts when she joins the Club for her rookie ANZ Championship season in 2016.

At 17 years-old Lauren is still at high school, and it was during class that she would take THAT phone call from Head Coach Rob Wright which would turn her netball career dreams into reality.

“I was actually in class… I left the room and Rob said ‘is it alright to talk to you?’ and I said ‘absolutely! I’m not busy at all!’” Lauren told NSWSwiftsTV.

Lauren was a replacement player for the Swifts during the 2015 ANZ Championship and admitted even that experience was a dream come true.

“Just to go away with the girls last year was just amazing.  To actually have my own spot in the team now it’s just awesome,” Lauren claimed.
