Swifts HQ: 6 June 2014

It’s been a busy week in SwiftsHQ as the Club counts down to our Minor Semi Final contest this Sunday 8 June…

BUSINESS AS USUAL AHEAD OF SEMIS T
he NSW Swifts are calling on the support of their Members and fans to help them over the line in this weekend’s Minor Semi Final – the first time the Club has featured in the Finals Series since 2011 – as they aim to take one step closer to the 2014 ANZ Championship Grand Final.

The Swifts will host the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic this coming Sunday 8 June at Allphones Arena in a sudden-death Finals contest which will see the winner advance to the Preliminary Final, while the loser will be eliminated from the 2014 race for the crown.

This Sunday also provides Swifts’ Members and fans the chance to see their favourite team in action at home for the last time in 2014, and Head Coach Rob Wright says it’s their continued support that has helped the team to achieve the success they have reached so far.

“We are going to need every Member and fan we can get to this game. It’s going to be a massive game for us after two years out of the Finals … we absolutely want a Sea of Red, we need every one of them down there cheering us on so please come along, it’s going to be a fantastic day,” Wright said.
