Netball Dates for your Diary!

We are almost at the end of the second week of 2013, and with the NSW Swifts back into pre-season training, it’s time to start gearing up for a massive season!

Three of our NSW Swifts will join their Australian Diamonds teammates for a Tour of England next week.  Mo’onia Gerrard, Susan Pratley and Diamonds debutant April Letton will fly out for London on Monday to take part in a three match series against World number three England

With National Netball Championships just round the corner, the NSW 21/U Teambegins training in two weeks as they aim for a sixth consecutive title.  Meanwhile the 17/U and 19/U State Teamswill commence their training in early February in preparation for their tournament in Darwin in April…

For the future stars of our sport, Netball NSW is hosting School Holiday Clinics around NSW throughout January.  Clinics will be held in Yass, Wollondilly, Leeton and Bathurst, as well as the Anne Clark Centre – registrations are still open so head to the Clinics pagefor more information…

For the very first time, Netball NSW will be taking the Advanced Coaching Course to regional NSW with Wagga Wagga hosting the workshop during February.  Registrations are now open…

Registrations for the inaugural Netball NSW Schools Cup are now being taken, with the Riverina region kicking off the action with the first Phase 1 round robin contest being played in Tumut on Friday 1 March.  Head to the Schools Cup information page to find out more on the State-wide primary school competition and how you can enter your school team…

The 2012 DOOLEYS State League competition is just around the corner, with team registrations closing Friday 15 February.  The competitions will kick off with Waratah Cup beginning on Wednesday 20 March, while Divisions 2-8 will kick off their seasons during April…

Alongside the metro-based competition, Regional State League competitions start with the Hunter Region on Sunday 3 March.  Following Hunter will be GrainCorp Regional State League – Riverina on Sunday 17 March, with other regions contesting later in the year…
