ACC to host white hot talent

The Anne Clark Centre is getting ready to host some of the best and brightest upcoming umpiring talent in the State, with the return of the Umpires’ Rookies Camp on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November.

Open to all umpires who achieved their National C Badges during the 2014 season, the camp will provide an opportunity for budding umpires to develop their skills and knowledge of the game.

Not only will the young officials be taken through the step-by-step of the Netball Australia National Umpire Development Pathway, they will also be given the opportunity to receive real-time mentoring from National A Badge umpires.

The Rookies Camp has quickly earned itself a reputation for not only being a fantastic development opportunity for young umpires, but also a weekend full of fun! The camp gives umpires a chance to network with other like-minded, talented officials, whilst also setting the scene for an exciting 2015 season – including information on allocations for the 2015 State Age and State Championships.

Places are still up for grabs, but you better get in quick! Registrations will close 5pm next Friday, 31 October. Check out the Umpires’ Rookies Camp calendar item for details.
