On Sunday 3 August, Netball NSW held its annual Presidents Forum at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre.
24 Associations were represented, where attendees were updated on a range of Netball NSW matters, plus there were a number of presentations made by both Netball NSW staff and external presenters on pertinent topics such as existing and future competitions, Volunteer Recruitment Management, Sponsoring and Corporate Support, the Australian Federal Police provided insight into the use and management of Social Media, and there was a workshop session on the Netball NSW State Championships.
“The Netball NSW Presidents Forum continues to be an invaluable Medium for the transfer of information and feedback for both Netball NSW and our Member Associations,” said Netball NSW President Wendy Archer AM.
“The NSW netball community has many things to look forward to over the next 12 months, and Sunday’s Forum provided a platform to encourage engaging dialogue and robust discussion about how we can all seize upon this once in a lifetime opportunity to ensure long-lasting benefits for the sport and its participants.”
“I look forward to continuing the conversations started over the weekend until we next meet at November’s Council Meeting,” concluded Wendy Archer.
