They say everything happens in threes; and for 2016 NSW Swifts rookie Kaitlyn Bryce, that’s none more so true than in the month of July.
Starting with the announcement the 20-year-old midcourter had been selected in the 2015 Australian 21/U Team, followed by her inclusion in the Centre of Excellence Residential Program that will head into a four-week camp at the Australian Institute of Sport, Kaitlyn confirmed the trifecta with Monday’s announcement she would play her first ANZ Championship next season in Swifts’ Red.
“It’s been an absolutely awesome July month to be honest, there’s a lot of big stuff that’s been happening for me and I’m so excited to be named in the Swifts,” Kaitlyn told NSWSwiftsTV.
“It’s a massive honour for me and I feel so excited … [I’m] absolutely so overwhelmed with all the love and support – there’s been a lot of people up here from the Sydney community, but I’ve been so honoured to receive messages from people back home at Shoalhaven, which is the Club that I grew up playing down there on the [NSW] South Coast.
“It’s been absolutely wonderful to hear from them and to get all their love and support.”
