Crazy Hair & Sock Day next week!

Just a quick shout-out to all members of our netball community that The Kids’ Cancer Project’s (TKCP) annual Crazy Hair & Sock Day is being officially celebrated next Saturday 23 May!

The NSW Swifts held their annual Crazy Hair & Sock Round last weekend at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, with Members and fans helping to raise over $2,800 towards vital funds for childhood cancer research.  Special congratulations to Amanda Hoare who won a 2015 NSW Swifts signed playing dress from the TKCP rafffle!

If you haven’t already, there’s still PLENTY of time to sign up for your own Crazy Hair & Sock Day – whether you celebrate it next weekend, or you decide on your own date! It’s totally up to you!

Register your interest in hosting your own Crazy Hair & Sock Day – or another Crazy fundraising idea of your own! – by visiting their website; www.thekidscancerproject.org.au.

The Kids’ Cancer Project is the largest Not-For-Profit funder of childhood cancer research, and thanks to community support over $24 million has been invested in to Australia’s best childhood cancer research since 2007.

In 2014 the netball community helped raise nearly $40,000 towards vital childhood cancer research, and with your help we hope this year goes Beyond Expectation!

We’re calling all netball teams, schools, Clubs and Associations throughout the State to participate in this year’s Crazy Hair & Sock Day to help raise important funds towards childhood cancer research.

On behalf of Netball NSW and the NSW Swifts, thank you for your continued support of TKCP and helping find a cure for childhood cancers.
