Go crazy for a good cause in May

This year’s Crazy Hair & Sock Day for The Kids’ Cancer Project (TKCP) is Saturday 23 May!

Netball NSW is encouraging our community to once again join in the festivities by raising money from your crazy fundraising ideas to assist our Official Charity Partner in their fight to cure childhood cancer.

TKCP is a national charity that fundraises to support childhood cancer research. Australia has one of the highest incidences of childhood cancer in the world, with one in 500 kids developing cancer before the age of 15 each year.

Associations and Clubs can host either a ‘crazy hair’ or ‘crazy sock’ day – or come up with your own idea! In return, players make a gold coin donation to help bring hope to kids with cancer.

All participating Associations will go in the draw to win a signed NSW Swifts playing dress!

Last year, 38 Associations from around NSW took part in a fun-filled day of ‘crazy’ hat, hair and socks at local netball courts, along with DOOLEY State League Divisions 5-8, raising an incredible $38,000 for research.

Fill out the registration form to get your Club or Association involved.

TKCP is also involved in the Netball NSW Schools Cup as Official Charity Partner and will be celebrated during the NSW Swifts’ Round 10 home game on Sunday 10 May.
