Return to netball in 2015

Local Netball Clubs and Associations across New South Wales are now taking registrations for the 2015 netball season.

Winter competitions will commence in late February or March, depending on where you live, and Netball NSW would like to extend a special invitation to those who have had a break from netball to consider returning to the sport they once thoroughly enjoyed.

There are now 117 Netball Associations across New South Wales, each offering a range of activities, competitions and programs tailored to the age and skill level of the participant.  One of the many great features of netball is that it’s never too late to take up the sport, and no matter one’s ability or reasons for wanting to play, there is a competition to suit everyone.

Netball is the most popular women’s team sport in Australia, with over 113,000 registered Members in New South Wales during 2014.

Netball is a fun, inclusive sport, open to people of all ages and abilities.  This team sport is a wonderful way to meet people and make new friends, all in a safe and respectful environment.

In addition to the positive impact sport delivers both physically and mentality, netball provides an ideal opportunity for women to have some down time; away from their studies, work, family duties, and other daily commitments.
