Sporty Swift Visits Boorowa School Carnival

The NSW Swifts’ number one cheerleader Sporty Swift paid a visit to the Boorowa Sports Carnival in regional New South Wales last Friday.

Netball NSW went along to help and have fun at the joint netball and touch football carnival organised between Boorowa Central School and St Joseph’s Primary School.

Primary schools from NSW and ACT participated in the carnival with 144 netball teams entered to compete on the day.  Sporty Swift made the trip down to say hello and cheer on the teams in action, while Netball NSW staff were on-hand with the NetSetGo! activity centre for all the students to have fun between games.

The day was designed for students to have fun, be active and get involved in sport.  Netball NSW and the NSW Swifts congratulate all teams and school for participating in this fabulous event.
