Train Like a Swift clinic – January registrations open

Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a NSW Swift? Well, wait no longer!

Back by popular demand after the success of Train Like a Swift in 2015, Netball NSW is once again hosting a unique experience for girls aged 12 to 16 years (including those turning 12-years-old in 2016), to learn what it takes to be an ANZ Championship player.

This special event is being held at the Netball Central complex across three days during the January School Holidays. Learn from your Swifts heroes and support staff, plus there is a different giveaway each day!

Note: To register more than one participant, fill out the details for the first participant, click “Add to Cart” before going back to the form and filling out the details for a second participant and clicking “Add  to Cart” etc.

But you better get in quick; these clinics are strictly limited to 50 participants per day and are sure to sell out. Join us for one day, or come to all three – the choice is yours!

Perfect your footwork while learning about team building; understand the importance of time management while improving your speed & agility –many different topics will be covered throughout the three days, so there is something for netballers of all abilities.

Tuesday 19, Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 January 2016
9am – 3.00pm each day (registrations from 8.30am)
Netball Central, Sydney Olympic Park
$100 per participant each day

Bring: water and healthy snacks

Schedule:

Day 1 – Tuesday 19 January: Nutrition, Physio/Looking after your body, Shooting Technique and Movement in the Circle and Mid Court attack and defence.*
Day 2 – Wednesday 20 January: Pre game preparation and post-game recovery, coaching session, defending, match play and game sense.*
Day 3 – Thursday 21 January: Self-confidence – being yourself, putting your best foot forward, attacking strategies and swiftness testing.*
