Waratahs seek back-to-back wins against Force

The Netball NSW Waratahs will be looking for another Australian Netball League win this weekend when they host Southern Force in Round 2 at the Genea Netball Centre, Sydney Olympic Park.

After going down by just one goal to the Canberra GIANTS in their last game, the Waratahs will be looking to get back to their winning ways.

Head Coach Briony Akle said she is confident her team can do so and recapture the form that saw them beat the GIANTS in game one of last weekend’s Round 1 double-header.

“I am really pleased with the way the team played at the weekend, they really came together and I thought our younger players stepped up when they needed to,” she said.

“We are only going to get better each week, considering we have only played and trained together for a short period of time the team has already shown great progress.

“This week will be a test to see where we are at after our opening games and I definitely think we will be successful over the two days.”
