IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ASSOCIATIONS
REGARDING THE ACTIVE KIDS REBATE
The NSW Office of Sport notified Netball NSW on Monday 23 October that as a State Sporting Organisation they will bulk upload our approved provide details (being Affiliated Clubs and Associations) for the Active Kids Rebate Program.
As such, Netball NSW requires the urgent assistance in collecting and collating information for all affiliated Clubs and Associations in NSW by COB Monday 6 November 2017 to be considered valid to accept Active Kids Rebate Program Vouchers as soon as they are available in January 2018 from the Service NSW website.
The Active Kids Program provides an incentive to children enrolled in school (K – 12) to get involved in sport by providing an annual $100 voucher (limit of one per child per year only), which can only be used when joining an approved activity. Please note that an approved activity can ONLY be offered by an approved provider.
To help Netball NSW submit provider details, we ask for the following assistance:
- All Association Secretaries forward on the Memo (dated 23 October 2017), including the Google form link, to all Club delegates to complete by COB Monday 6 November 2017;
- Provide Netball NSW with your affiliated Club contact details so Netball NSW staff are able to follow up with Clubs directly;
- Netball NSW will then provide the appropriate documentation and information to NSW Office of Sport on behalf of Associations and Clubs.
Netball NSW greatly appreciates your assistance in providing this information to us and your affiliated clubs in a timely manner to ensure we meet these tight deadlines.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact firstname.lastname@example.org or a member of the Association Development team on (02) 9951 5000 during business hours.
