Netball NSW is calling for nominations for this year’s Anne Clark Service awards.
The Anne Clark Service award is bestowed to an individual in recognition of their significant contribution to the development of netball at an Association level and has given at least ten (10) years outstanding service to netball. This award is the highest accolade that Netball NSW can pay to its volunteers at the District level.
The award was first introduced in 1976 and is named after Anne Clark BEM. Anne Clark could easily be described as the “Mother of Netball” for her magnificent contribution to the sport of netball over a very long period of time, including as Netball NSW President from 1950–1978.
The award recipients will be presented at this year’s Netball NSW State Dinner to be held on Saturday 1 November, 2014.
Nominations for this year’s Anne Clark Service Awards close Tuesday 30 September, 2014.
