The netball community has collectively reached new heights in 2017 and Netball NSW invites you to celebrate with an evening of merriment and recognition as we acknowledge the outstanding contributions and achievements of our , players, coaches, umpires, officials, volunteers, administrators and staff.
Netball NSW’s night of nights includes a three-course menu, a live Jazz Band, the announcements of our 2017 Award Recipients and, most importantly, the celebration of a wonderful season.
It’s not often we get the chance to sit back and reflect on our achievements as a community, so join us as we announce our 2017 Recipients of;

- The Marilyn Melhuish OAM Medal – Suncorp Super Netball Player of the Year
- The Nance Kenny OAM Medal – Samsung Premier League Player of the Year
- The Margaret Corbett OAM Coaches Award – Coach of the Year
- The Neita Matthews OAM Umpires Award
- The Lynn Quinn OAM Bench Officials Award
- The Marj Groves AM Scholarship
- The Judy Dunbar Media Award
Last year Marcia Ella-Duncan OAM was inducted into the Netball NSW Hall of Fame, as well as our inaugural Heritage items – the First Netball NSW Minute Book and the 1969 NSW Netball Association Touring Singapore Team.

We will also be recognising NSW’s Suncorp Super Netball, Australian Netball League, Marie Little OAM Shield and National Netball Championship teams who have become role models, state heroes and have continued to uphold NSW’s proud legacy in the game throughout 2017.
