Learn from one of the best in the business with High Performance Coach Sue Hawkins making her way across New South Wales to share her knowledge and experience.
The former England Netball Head coach and Australian representative, and current NSW Institute of Sport Netball Program Head Coach, Hawkins is currently visiting Regional Academy of Sports coaches and athletes, but you don’t have to miss out!
The netball community is invited to a series of Academy on-court training sessions facilitated by Hawkins, who will take participants through the ins and outs of different skill training, as well as have the opportunity to discuss anything and everything netball at the end.
To date, Hawkins has facilitated sessions at a combined Hunter and Northern Inland Academy of Sport netball camp, plus a training session with the Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS).
CCAS Head Coach Gima Crowdy urged Clubs and Associations to visit their nearest Academy when Hawkins visits for this rarely afforded occasion.
“Sue brings such vast experience, making it a fantastic session for both the squad and for us as coaches. She brings another dimension to the training, which I know the girls received great benefit from, and was great at answering my questions or giving me another perspective to look at,” Crowdy said.
“Sue’s visits are a great initiative from Netball NSW, NSWIS and the Regional Academy of Sport, and I can’t recommend highly enough if you’re interested in taking your training sessions to the next level.”
Please see list of dates and locations Sue Hawkins will be visiting over the next few months. It’s important to check with your local Regional Academy prior to any session to ensure there have been no venue changes and to confirm session start times.
