Helping girls achieve their dreams by highlighting and helping eliminate key drivers of gender bias including, financial barriers, lack of leadership opportunities, isolation, gender stereotypes that negatively affect young women, and barriers to physical activity.

Funds raised during May will go towards supporting grassroots community netball programs to help empower vulnerable girls. Netball NSW’s initiative that the Confident Girls aids is EmpowerPlay.
Empowerplay is an initiative developed for Clubs and Associations to generate a strong culture and positive experiences for netball participants aged 10 – 13 years.
The program provides a supportive environment that helps young people to discover confidence, resilience and self-worth while building lifelong communication skills to work with others.
EmpowerPlay is suitable for all young netballers from those playing club level through to representative teams playing at the next level.
Whether it’s your club, association, school or just yourself, pledge how many goals you will score this month for #GiveForAGoal and get sponsored for your efforts to help give every Australian girl the opportunity to thrive through the power of netball.
All money raised will go towards programs that focus on helping vulnerable girls become confident girls.
So, how many goals can YOU do?
Remember, every goal counts!
