Getting things started on Thursday will be a top-of-the-table clash between Illawarra and Northern Suburbs at 7pm. Illawarra sit atop the ladder, leading Northern Suburbs by two points.
The first v second match isn’t the only close contest set for tomorrow night; third place Parramatta Auburn will meet Liverpool City who sit in fifth, while Sutherland Shire and Camden battle it out in a bottom of the ladder clash.
At 8:30pm fourth-placed City of Sydney/Sydney University will take the court against sixth-placed Central Coast, while Hawkesbury City (7th) take on Randwick (8th) to close the night.
Ku-ring-gai have overtaken Northern Suburbs at the top of the ladder since our last update, with nothing separating the next three teams to make up a tight Top Four. St George, Northern Suburbs and Illawarra all sit on 14 points, only separated by goal differential.
The stage is set for another exciting contest when Division 3 play returns on Monday 7 July, with St George meeting Illawarra at 7pm. St George holds a slight advantage over Illawarra in goal differential, but with two points up for grabs both teams will be looking for the win.
So make sure you come down to the Anne Clark Centre and help cheer your favourite teams in action during the DOOLEYS State League Division 2-4 action!
Eastwood Ryde remain atop the ladder as Division 2 heads into the rest week, undefeated with nine wins and one draw. They are closely followed by Ku-ring-gai in second, who trail by five points, with Sutherland Shire and Bankstown City in third and fourth on equal points.
It sets up for an exciting return to action on Tuesday 8 July with a top of the table clash scheduled for 8:30pm. The last time the two sides met was way back in Round 2 with Eastwood Ryde finishing nine-goal victors.
