There are just three rounds remaining in Divisions 2-4; see where your team is sitting ahead of Round 16 as the Finals Series quickly approaches…

The top four hasn’t changed since our last update, with an undefeated Eastwood Ryde still sitting atop the ladder. They lead Ku-ring-gai, Sutherland Shire and Bankstown City with only three points separating second through to fourth.

While those teams enjoy a healthy lead over fifth place, it’s an extremely close competition in Division 2, with three out of five games last round decided by five goals or less.

Just three points separate the top five sides in Division 3, setting up for an exciting final run towards Finals. Northern Suburbs and St George remain in the top two separated only by goal differential, while Ku-ring-gai and Illawarra hold out fifth-placed Eastwood Ryde from the top four by just one point.

Mathematically Sutherland Shire aren’t out of Finals contention despite sitting in sixth place, sitting just four points out of the top four. The game to watch in Round 16 will certainly be at 7pm when third-placed Ku-ring-gai takes on Eastwood Ryde; a win to Eastwood Ryde would see them jump into the top four but if Ku-ring-gai is victorious, they would be one step closer to securing their finals spot.

Illawarra have maintained their strong 2014 momentum, with just one loss marring their season so far. They have a healthy six-point buffer over Northern Suburbs in second place, with third-placed Liverpool City and fourth-placed Parramatta Auburn separated by just one point.

All in all, there are some exciting matches still to be played leading up to DOOLEYS State League Division 2-4 Finals so make sure you get down to the Anne Clark Centre and support your favourite team!
