Round 7 action continues tonight (Thursday 29 May) in Division 4, but check out where the teams sit on the ladder below…

Eastwood Ryde remain atop the ladder with six wins and just one loss so far.  Sutherland Shire follow closely in second, trailing by two points, while Ku-ring-gai makes up the Top 3 a further two points behind.

That sets up an exciting Round 8 contest next Tuesday 3 June, with second and third going head-to-head at 7pm.  Another exciting match is Bankstown City in third meeting sixth-placed Randwick, with only two points separating the two sides.

Second v third contests await Division 3 next Monday 2 June with second-placed Illawarra taking on Ku-ring-gai in third.  However the two sides are only separated by goal differential, meaning a win will give either side ascendency.

Northern Suburbs is on the top of the ladder also on equal points with Illawarra and Ku-ring-gai, with supreme goal differential giving them top spot.  While it’s congested at the top, it is also in the middle with fourth to seventh place all on eight points – what a tight competition it is in Division 3!

Illawarra have claimed top spot since our last update, overtaking Northern Suburbs who now sit in second.  The two sides are on equal points however Illawarra’s supreme goal differential (thanks to some big winning margins) has them in first.

It’s a close contest from third to sixth, meaning tonight’s matches could see teams leap frog others depending on the results.

So make sure you come down to the Anne Clark Centre and help cheer your favourite teams in action during the DOOLEYS State League Division 2-4 action!
