Before that, here’s a look at how last night’s action panned out:
Hills District 51 d Blacktown City 34
Hills District booked their place in the 2016 DOOLEYS Metro League Division 5 Grand Final with a 51-34 win over Blacktown City at Netball Central.
They will now meet Inner Western Suburbs in next week’s decider at the same venue on Tuesday 6 September (8:30pm AEST)
Hills recovered from a slow start to produce a wonderful performance in the second and third quarters – which they won 12-5 and 17-5 respectively – to set them up for the win.
Blacktown City had the better of things early in the game and showed some nice touches to head to the first break 13-11 ahead but that was as good as it got.
They did, however, show good spirit and resolve to share the spoils in the final quarter, which the teams drew 11-11.

Hawkesbury City 51 d Mount Druitt 50
Hawkesbury City pipped Mount Druitt by the slimmest of margins to book their place in the 2016 DOOLEYS Metro League Division 6 Grand Final after an extra-time thriller at Netball Central.
It took four quarters of netball and added time to separate the teams with Hakesbury just having the legs (and better shooting accuracy) to win 51-50 and setup a date with Inner Western Suburbs in next week’s decider on Tuesday 6 September at 6:45pm.
In a contest that ebbed and flowed from start to finish, it was Mount Druitt who came racing out of the blocks to take a 13-7 lead at quarter time, before Hawkesbury evened the ledger by winning the second quarter 13-6 and taking a one-goal lead to halftime.
The teams shared the final two quarters between them and at full time were locked on 41 goals apiece with extra time needed to determine who would progress.
The first period of added time was a good one for Hawkesbury and they won it 7-3, giving them a 48-43 advantage leading into the final period. However, they almost let the game slip from their grasp as Mount Druitt came roaring back into contention but in the end Hawkesbury just had enough to hold on.
Hawkesbury City | Q1: 7 – Q2: 20 (13) – Q3: 28 (8) – Q4: 41 (13) – ET1: 48 (7) – ET2: 51 (3)
