With schools returning for Term Two, Saturday netball is back in a big way with Associations across New South Wales commencing (or restarting) their competitions last Saturday.
At the Anne Clark Centre, DOOLEYS State League action continued for Divisions 5-8 last weekend when they contested week four of competition. The top teams on each ladder all hail from different corners of the Metropolitan area, and remain undefeated thus far.

With four weeks of competition already under our belts, the 39 teams across the four divisions will head in Round 5 this Saturday 11 May.
In Division Five, City of Sydney/Sydney Uni (CSNA) narrowly defeated Baulkham Hills by three goals to notch their third win in a row this season. CSNA sits with a game in hand having already enjoyed a Bye round. Bankstown City, Eastwood Ryde and Hills District are second, third and fourth respectively in a thrilling contest; Eastwood delivered Bankstown their only loss so far, while Hills defeated Eastwood in their only defeat.

Wollondilly are sitting atop the Division Six ladder with four straight wins, including a two goal victory over third-placed Hills District last round. In second place is Parramatta Auburn, whose only loss thus far was an opening round defeat at the hands of the current leaders.
City of Sydney/Sydney Uni and Penrith round up the top five, with Penrith refreshed and ready to contest Parramatta after coming off the Bye last weekend.

The top two teams in Division Seven, Illawarra and Hawkesbury City, are yet to lose a game which sets up for a tantalising Round 5 contest as they go head-to-head at 1.30pm this Saturday 11 May. Both teams are yet to drop a game this season, with the only blemish to Hawkesbury City a draw in Round 3 with fourth-placed Hills District.

Division Eight will also see the top team sides contest in Round 5, with Blue Mountains and Sutherland Shire taking the court at 9.00am. Blue Mountains are yet to drop a game this season, easily accounting for Penrith last weekend, 62-39. Sutherland Shire’s only blemish thus far is a two goal defeat at the hands of fourth-placed Penrith.
