Fast5 fan packages on sale Monday

The Fast5 Netball World Series is the first opportunity for fans to witness netball’s newest format on Australian soil, with the action-packed two-day event to be held on October 29-30 at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena.
With five players a side, shorter quarters, power plays and super shots, Netball Australia CEOKate Palmer assured fans are in for a treat.
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to showcase this innovative format of our game in Australia for the first time,” Palmer said.
“Fast5 netball is netball like you’ve never seen, and we know the exciting combination of world-class netball and unique entertainment will thrill our crowds.
“Fan packages offer the best seats in the stadium along with a range of exclusive experiences to maximise an ultimate weekend.”
Fast5 Netball World Series fan packages will be available via three official travel agents – Events Worldwide, House of Travel and Flight Centre New Zealand – with all information available via the official event website,
Offerings include session tickets, VIP experiences, merchandise, special event tickets, a variety of accommodation and travel options and more.
With ticket package details released today, Palmer said Netball Australia wanted to give fans the opportunity to digest available options ahead of the official on-sale date of 9am AEST Monday 2 May. General tickets will be released in September.
“Off the back of the success of similar packages at last year’s World Cup, we recommend fans get in early and secure their seats via the fan packages to avoid disappointment,” Palmer explained.
Victorian Minister for Tourism and Major Events John Eren is looking forward to welcoming the world’s best teams and their passionate fans to Melbourne.

“We can’t wait to host the top-six ranked netball nations at the Fast5 Netball World Series,” Minister Eren said.

“It will be the first time the format will be played in Australia and what better place to debut than Melbourne, the events capital.”
