Fun and laughs wraps 2013 Masters competition

After two days of fun and frivolity – both on and off the court – the 2013 Netball NSW Masters competition has closed for another season, with the winners presented at Newcastle Netball Association.

The competition was proudly supported by Major Partner the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE), with netballers over the age of 35 gathering for a weekend of fun with the girls, a bit of netball on the side, as well as one of the tournament highlights; the Saturday Night Social.

Along with supporting the tournament, ACPE also supported the Best & Fairest Awards for the second year running – awards for both team and individual, as voted by the 2013 Masters participants.  Congratulations to the following recipients:

Over 40/45 Competitive – Bankstown City Ladies

Over 35 Social – Belinda Ingram (The Harlequins)
Over 40/45 Competitive – Chris Bakunowicz (Bankstown City Ladies)
Over 40/45 Social – Jenny Moran (Medowie Mocktails 45s)

After swapping their runners for their dancing shoes for last night’s Social Event, the teams were back on the court today for the final rounds of the 2013 tournament.  Congratulations to the following teams who finished with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals:
