The ACPE Social Masters is back again in 2016, offering participants a great weekend of fun competition, teamwork and friendship.
This year marks the seventh edition of the tournament and it will be heading to the Central Coast on Saturday and Sunday 22-23 October with Wyong District Netball Association taking on hosting duties.
Last year a record 42 teams participated at Charlestown Netball Association in what proved to be a wonderful two days of action; Illawarra 35’s, Hills Bells, Junction Hotel in Motion, Hills Angels and Over The Hills all claimed gold in their respective age-divisions – VIEW 2015 RECAP HERE.
“The ACPE Social Masters is one of the highlights on our calendar every year and we are delighted to be heading to Wyong in 2016,” Claire Dale, Competitions Manager at Netball NSW, said.
“Last year we had wonderful participation and we are hoping to build on that again this year.”
So if you’re a keen netballer who loves to compete in a relaxed environment – and make new friends at the same time – the ACPE Social Masters is perfect for you.
Teams will be divided up into three age groups – Over 35s, Over 40s and Over 45s – and 2016 will see the return of two different competitions; the more serious Competitive Division and the Social Division.
Plus, the ever-popular Masters Social Function will return again this year, which will be hosted on the Saturday evening. While what goes on tour, stays on tour, the Social Function is a great way for players to let their hair down, swap the netty shoes for dancing shoes, and mix and mingle with other Masters participants for a wonderful night of fun.
Netball NSW would like to take this opportunity to thank The Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE), our naming rights partner for the 2016 Social Masters, for their support.
