The countdown is on with the NSW 17/U and 19/U Teams departing for Melbourne tomorrow to contest the 2014 National Netball Championships at Waverley Netball Centre.

St George have got off to a flying start in the 2014 DOOLEYS State League Waratah Cup, the only team to remain undefeated after the first three rounds.

In 2014 Netball NSW is expanding delivery of the Sudanese Australian Integrated Learning (SAIL) Xtend Program outside of the physical component of the netball game and has introduced six 90 minute workshops to participants.

“With student attendance and involvement sky rocketing it is fantastic to see these young girls and woman embracing the 90 minute workshops as well as engaging in the physical activity sessions,” said Netball NSW Community Engagement Manager Kristy Guthrie.

  GRAINCORP REGIONAL STATE LEAGUE – RIVERINA CHAMPIONS CROWNEDWagga Wagga Opens were crowned the 2014 GrainCorp Regional State League – Riverina Champions on Sunday 23 March after defeating their younger counterparts, Wagga Wagga 17s, 60-30 in the title decider at Narranderra Sports Stadium.
