2015 STATE CHAMPIONS REVEALEDThe 2015 State Champions were announced yesterday (Monday 8 June) following three days of action at the Netball NSW State Championships.Just over 1,200 matches were played and more than 40,000 goals scored at Illawarra District Netball Association across the long weekend before the winners were revealed.

TEAMS PREPARE FOR WARATAH CUP FINALSThe 2015 DOOLEYS State League Waratah Cup enters Finals tomorrow, Wednesday 10 June, at Netball Central with City of Sydney/Sydney Uni, Eastwood Ryde, St George and Sutherland Shire all vying for the title.

Netball World Cup 2015 is looking for two NSW-based Associations to be a part of their Opening Ceremony on Friday 7 August as Flag Bearers.

SWIFTS TAKE ON MAGIC FOR GRAND FINAL SPOTFollowing the NSW Swifts’ loss to the QLD Firebirds in the Australian Conference Final, and Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic’s victory in the New Zealand Conference Final, the Swifts will now travel to New Zealand to take on the Hamilton-based team for a place in the 2015 ANZ Championship Grand Final.WBOP Magic host the Swifts in the Semi Finals this Sunday 14 June at Claudelands Arena in Hamilton from 5:10pm AEST (7:10pm NZST).

PAMELA GUYER & EVELYN LANGBEIN HONOUREDNetball NSW would like to congratulate both Pamela Guyer and Evelyn Langbein who have been awarded the prestigious Order of Australia (OAM) in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours List.Pamela Guyer received her accolade for service to the community of Kempsey, and to netball; with Evelyn Langbein acknowledged for service to netball in NSW.

  ANL GETS UNDERWAY 20 JUNEThe Netball NSW Waratahs open their 2015 Australian Netball League season with a tough match-up against defending Premiers Victorian Fury on Saturday 20 June at AIS Arena.Netball Central will host just one ANL fixture in 2015, when the NNSW Waratahs play Canberra Darters on Saturday 11 July – make sure to add the date to your diary!
