At Swifts HQ on Wednesday the players turned the tables and were the coaches for the afternoon!
From lending a hand in the Netball NSW Community Engagement program and at Netball NSW School Holiday Clinics, to giving tips to Regional Academies of Sport athletes, the NSW Swifts get out and about in the NSW netball community.
To ensure the players are passing on their advice in the best way, the Swifts went through a coaching accreditation assessment.
Netball NSW Coach Development Coordinator Dianne Brown coordinated the afternoon.
“[The Swifts are] in our netball community promoting the sport all the time so we want to ensure they are across contemporary coaching methods, and that when they are out there in the community that they’re practicing best coach practices, on and off the court,” Brown said.
