Swifts Head South for Summer Challenge

The NSW Swifts will head south of the border to contest a pre-season tournament, hosted by the Melbourne Vixens, at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Melbourne on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 February.
The Victorian Government today announced funding to enable Netball Victoria to host the first Melbourne
Vixens Summer Challenge, with the Swifts joining six other ANZ Championship teams from Australia and New Zealand to play a series of pre-season matches.
The other ANZ Championship teams contesting the pre-season competition will be the Queensland Firebirds, Adelaide Thunderbirds, West Coast Fever, Southern Steel and Canterbury Tactix, as well as hosts the Vixens.
This event comes the week following our NSW Swifts FAN DAY on Sunday 17 February, when they will also host the Vixens in a pre-season exhibition match at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre.
The NSW Swifts kick off their 2013 ANZ Championships campaign against the Fever at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre on Monday 25 March.
