2019 Active Kids Rebate
Netball NSW is pleased to again be participating in the NSW Active Kids Rebate program in which the NSW Government will provide a rebate through a voucher system to parents/guardians of school children enrolled in specific sports. The $100 voucher can be used for registration and participation costs for sport activities listed here. The initiative is designed to encourage more children to become active and help reduce the cost of participation.
In 2018 Netball was the second highest sport with redeemed vouchers and we are looking forward to growing the number of participants again in 2019.
How can an Association/ Club maximise the benefit of the Active Kids Rebate?
- Collect fees via MyNetball. If clubs collect their fees via MyNetball the $100 Active Kids Rebate will be applied to the combined total of State, Association and Club fees.
- Any fees charged or collected during the season be incorporated into the upfront registration fee e.g. weekly court fees
- Create a value-add registration that bundles the registration fee with additional items e.g. a $50 club registration fee becomes a $70 registration bundle that includes hat, shirt and ball
