Netball NSW and affiliated Associations offer various roles and opportunities for coaches to move through the states coaching pathway in conjunction with the National Coaching Framework. Coaches play a key role in the Development of Netballers throughout the state and have many opportunities to progress and develop along the states coaching pathway.

The Netball NSW Player Development Pathway offers a quality and equal opportunities to all players to move along the pathway. Players can move into the pathway are various points with a focus on individual skill development.
“Teams don’t spontaneously develop without effective leadership; the best leaders appreciate individual differences and play a key role in guiding, teaching, encouraging, and organising the team to fulfil their full potential.” A Team Manager’s job is to maintain the general running of a team to free the coaching staff to concentrate on the coaching and training aspects of the team.
