Netball NSW is committed to assisting associations in being inclusive. Programs to engage the Indigenous community are a great opportunity for Associations to engage a wider portion of the population, increase the number of members and volunteers and use facilities that may be under-utilised.

Netball NSW’s aim is to enhance participation of Indigenous girls in netball to improve their physical fitness, team cooperation and general health and wellbeing.

Indigenous communities benefit from specialised netball clinics that concentrate on building their knowledge and skills along with providing as a fun and inclusive environment to enjoy the sport.

Netball NSW would like to create more netball participation opportunities for Indigenous Australians by establishing partnerships with community groups. We view these opportunities to form partnerships as an ideal vehicle to design valuable components that will result in a healthy sport and healthy communities.
