National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy (NASCA) was founded in 1995 and uses role models, leadership figures and trained professionals to implement a range of programs across Australia for Aboriginal students and young people.

NASCA is located at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) in Redfern and offers a number of programs that focus on engaging students to participate and stay in school.

Sporting Chance Academies are school-based sport and recreation focused learning and development programs for Aboriginal youth in the South Sydney and Dubbo regions.

Netball NSW and NASCA will deliver netball clinics to Alexandria Park, Marrickville High and Tempe High, three schools based in the South Sydney region. Over three consecutive weeks students will engage in practical netball sessions, develop netball skills and utilisenetball to encourage healthy living, build confidence and identity.
