Who is Anne Clark?
Anne Clark was a foundation member of the NSW Women’s Basket Ball Association in 1929, remaining an active member of the later named NSW Netball Association including 29 years as President until her passing in 1983.
I want to buy a netball – what is the correct size and where can I get it from?
An official netball is a size 5, which is between 27-28 inches. These can be purchased from any good sports retailer. Alternatively, for those under the age of 10, a modified netball (size 4) is available.
I want to put a netball ring in my background – what is the official height?
The official height of a netball goal post is 3.05m (or 10 feet). For those under the age of 10, the modified height of a netball goal post is 2.4m (or 8 feet).

What equipment do I need to play netball?
When you sign up for a netball team, your club will advise you what the uniform requirements are. Other than club uniform you will need a pair of shoes. We suggest a pair of well-fitting joggers/netball shoes. You can purchase these at your local sports shop. Generally, your netball club will supply balls and bibs for training and games.
Do you run netball clinics?

If I want to play netball do I need to find six other players?
No, however if you do have an entire team that’s great! If you are just wanting to sign up to play, the club you are registering with will be able to place you in a suitable team.
Can men play netball?
Yes, they can. There are a variety of mixed netball competitions and men’s competitions that run across NSW.
