Shine a spotlight on your Hidden Treasures

Netball NSW invites our rural* Associations and Clubs to nominate a volunteer who you believe goes above and beyond to encourage, support and develop netball in your community for the 2013 Hidden Treasures Honour Roll, an initiative organised by the Rural Women’s Network and backed by Communities NSW Department of Sport and Recreation.

The Hidden Treasures Honour Roll is a public tribute to the vast number of women who give their and energy to help others, and is an annual joint project of the Department of Primary Industries Rural Women’s Network and the NSW Centre for Volunteering, which celebrates the import work of volunteers.

All rural women nominated will be included in the 2013 Honour Roll to be launched at the annual NSW Rural Women’s Gathering**, with this year’s event being held in Scone from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 October.

*Nominations will only be accepted for NSW Rural Women.  ‘Rural’ is defined as anyone living outside the larger metropolitan centres of Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong.

**You and your nominee will be notified by mail of inclusion of your nomination and copy if the printed 2013 Honour Roll following the launch.
