The Netball NSW Schools Cup, supported by First National Real Estate, saw over 9000 students across NSW participate in both competitive and non-competitive aspects in 2016. To meet popularity requests, Netball NSW has expanded Schools Cup to include a year 9/10 division in 2017. With divisions for years 5/6 (mixed), years 7/8 (boys and girls) and now years 9/10 (boys and girls), the Schools Cup is a great opportunity to either experience playing netball for the first time, or test your skills in a bid to become State Champion.

Gala Days are open to students in years 3/4 and are the perfect opportunity to experience netball with modified NetSetGO Rules and without the pressures of competition. Gala Days will be held across the state and work as a great introduction to school netball before participating in the Netball NSW Schools Cup in later years.

Something for the teachers
Netball Australia’s School Ambassador Program is a fantastic opportunity for teachers to remain up-to-date with all things netball in the school environment. Teachers who sign up to become a Netball School Ambassador are asked to be a promoter of netball in their school and encourage participation in the sport. In return, teachers receive correspondence from both Netball Australia and Netball NSW, a polo-shirt, resources and the chance to attend a NSW Swifts and GIANTS Netball Suncorp Super Netball game.
