Schools contest to represent region

The participants for the 2014 South Coast Schools Cup Regional Final Day have been decided following the final Local Day in the area last week.

Broulee Public School, St Mary’s – Moruya, Carroll College and Batemans Bay High are the latest schools to advance to the Regional Final, to be contested on Thursday 19 June in Queanbeyan.

Schools Cup Local Days were held in Nowra, Queanbeyan, Goulburn and Broulee from March through to May, with teams contesting in both Years 5/6 and Years 7/8 age divisions, as well as the new boys-only division introduced this season.

At the conclusion of the Regional Final, the teams to represent the South Coast at the Schools Cup State Final being held on Tuesday 16 September at the Anne Clark Centre will be revealed.

After the success of its inaugural competition in 2013, the Netball NSW Schools Cup is back in 2014 and proudly supported by our Official Charity Partner The Kids’ Cancer Project.

The competition attracts Government, Catholic and Independent school teams from around the State to participate in the following divisions, with this season seeing the introduction of both a girls and boys secondary school division.

• Senior (Years 5 & 6) Mixed

• Junior (Years 7 & 8) Girls
• Junior (Years 7 & 8) Boys

Good luck to all the teams that will contest the South Coast Regional Final in June!
