Stage set for 2018 Netball NSW State Cup

The Netball NSW State Cup, which brings the best Metro and Regional teams from across the State together, takes place at the Genea Netball Centre in Sydney Olympic Park this weekend.

The competition was setup to determine the State’s best Association in the Opens age category.

Teams from the 2018 DOOLEYS Metro League and BING LEE Regional League competitions will take part and the tournament will crown the 2018 State champions.

As well as the state crown being decided, the highest ranked Regional Association at the conclusion of the weekend will be declared the Inter-Regional State champions.

This year eight Assocaitions from across NSW will be battling it out for the silverware.

  • Hastings Valley
  • Hills District
  • Lismore
  • Newcastle
  • Northern Suburbs
  • Orange
  • Quirindi

Hastings Valley won the 2017 State Cup and will be keen to defend both their State and International titles this weekend, however, 2016 champions Northern Suburbs also have a very strong pedigree in the competition.
