Fifteen athletes have been selected to advance to the next phase of selections for the 2015 NSW 21/U team, following trials at the Anne Clark Centre on Wednesday 24 September, 2014.
In addition to these 15 athletes, a further two players were granted an exemption from Phase I by Netball NSW.
Netball NSW General Manager – High Performance Tracey Fear stated NSW Selectors were pleased with the number of new players trialling for the NSW 21/U Team.
“It was great to see some former NSW 19/U athletes progressing to the next level in our High Performance Pathway, and to observe how they performed against the more experienced athletes in these trails, with a number advancing to the next phase of selections,” said Fear.
These selected athletes will now participate in Fitness Testing on Friday 31 October plus Squad Training on Monday 15 December, both at the Anne Clark Centre, before Final Phase Trials on Friday 16th January 2015 at the new home of Netball NSW, Netball Central at Sydney Olympic Park.
The NSW 21/U team to compete at 2015 National Netball Championships will be announced following the Final Phase of trials.
