The NSW 21/U Team is just moments away from hitting the court for the first time at the 2014 21/U National Netball Championships in Adelaide.
The NSW team takes on the ACT at 12:00pm (local time) in their only match on the opening day of the event.
NSW Head Coach Megan Simpson is expecting a tough first outing in Round 1.
“I’m sure that [ACT] have been working extremely hard as a group and I have no doubt that with some of the talent that they have got they will certainly be a real strength, ACT are traditionally highly competitive,” Simpson said.
“We’re expecting a really tough game against them and we’ll certainly have to make sure that we stick to our game plan and execute it well.”
Her final message to players before they take the court?
“It’s just about remembering all of the preparation that we’ve gone through. We’ve covered all our bases and now it’s just about putting it all out there on the court and showing everybody what we’re capable of doing; working together as a team, supporting each other and focussing on the game plan for each match.”
