NSW teams finding their rhythm

Day 2 of the 2017 National Netball Championships in Canberra ended with both the NSW 17/U and 19/U sides securing convincing Round 3 wins.

17/U – Day 2 wrap

The NSW 17/U team are looking to consolidate on their performances today, Friday 21 April, after an impressive 44-11 win over Northern Territory in their Round 3 game. However, they lost 44-21 in Round 4 against South Australia.

NSW proved too strong for Northern Territory with an impressive attacking game, taking a 33-goal win. The team set out to replicate the performance against South Australia but their opponents’ strong attacking front proved too much.

Today will see the 17/U team take on Tasmania at 11.00am AEST, who are currently sitting on a scorecard of two losses and two draws. After that NSW will then take on Victoria in their Round 6 clash tomorrow, Saturday 22 April, at 8.30am AEST.
