Netball NSW announced on Friday 8 November 2013 the coaching staff that will guide the New South Wales State Teams and Netball NSW Australian National League (ANL) Teams in 2014.

Experienced coach Moira Gaha has been appointed Head Coach of the NSW 17/U Team for 2014.

Gaha was Head Coach of St George during the 2013 DOOLEYS State League Waratah Cup (Division One), Head Coach of the 2013 NNSW Blues, Assistant Coach of 2011 & 2012 NNSW Blues and Assistant Coach of 2011 NSW 17/U Team.

New Advanced level Coach, Amber Cross receives her first State appointment as the NSW 17/U Assistant Coach.  Cross also coached the successful NSW Team at the recent Sports Institutes and Sports Academies (SIS/SAS) Challenge in Canberra.

Deborah Kassing has been appointed Team Manager for the NSW 17/U. Deborah has been Team Manager for the Sydney Netball Academy (2012 and 2013), St George in DOOLEYS State League Waratah Cup (Division One) competition, and also managed the NSW Men’s team at National Championships between 1998-2003.

On Tuesday 28 January 2014 Netball NSW confirmed the players who will represent NSW at the 2014 17/U National Netball Championships in Melbourne.

Head Coach Moira Gaha will lead a new-look side for 2014 with 11 athletes making their Nationals debut; Sutherland Shire defender Cassandra Radford returns from last year’s 17/U team that finished in third place after defeating South Australia, 36-22, in the playoff.
