2007 competition preview (as at March 2007);
The NSW 19/U team is littered with experienced players.  Four McDonalds Hunter Jaegers players Borger, Hamilton, Russell and Tairi appear in the side combined with Sydney TAB Swifts Chelsea Pittman and Amy Wild.  Coach Lenore Blades, a former Commonwealth Bank Trophy coach herself, led the NSW 19U side to a grand final appearance in 2006, and this year is looking to clinch the title. Head Coach

Lenore Blades: Lenore returns as the head coach of the 19 & Under State Team for 2007, for the fourth season in a row. Lenore is a highly experienced coach; her previous experience includes being the Consultant Coach for the Scottish National Team (2001-2003), Head Coach of CBT National League Team in 2000 & 2001, NSW Combined High Schools Coach and selector (1994-1997) and NSW 17 & Under State Coach. Lenore’s expertise and knowledge will be a great asset to the team in the hopes of securing the national titles for 2007.Assistant Coach

Megan Simpson: Megan joins the NSW 19 & Under Team as the Assistant coach. Megan joins NSW after a stint in Fiji as the National Team Head Coach, which she guided to the 2006 Commonwealth Games as well as a series of International Tests. Megan’s coaching resume also includes Australian Institute of Sport Scholarship Coach 1998, State League 1 Head Coach 2003-2005 (various associations). Megan is also very experienced as a player having played for Australia in the U/21 team and also the Melbourne Phoenix CBT Team, and was an AIS Scholarship holder.
