Get excited for the 2014 netball season with an all-encompassing Convenors Workshop, being held at the Anne Clark Centre on Friday 14 March.
Replacing the Umpires Convenor Camp, the conference is open for all Club and Association Convenors and their committees to be informed of the numerous State and National programs, procedures and rules.
Starting at 6.30pm, the workshop is an opportunity for participants to gather information, share experiences with others, and gain ideas of assistance from other like-minded convenors.
The workshop will also discuss testing umpires, specifically targeting the process behind testing umpires for their National Badges. And best of all, the conference is FREE to all interested!
Netball NSW Umpire and Officials Development Coordinator Jan Simpson said she is excited to hash out some great ideas on the night.
“The Convenors Workshop is a perfect opportunity to get together and discuss everything that we have planned in the 2014 calendar. Not only that, it’s a great way to meet like-minded people to get together and for newly-appointed convenors to learn off those with lots of experience,” Simpson said.
“It also provides an opportunity to discuss some of the terrific work that’s being down around the State and what plans lie ahead. Our presenters will be on hand to answer any questions convenors have as well, so I can’t recommend highly enough to join us on the night.”
Convenors interested in participating in this FREE workshop must register by COB Monday 3 March. Simply download the Registration Form below and return to Mikaela Caldwell, Netball NSW Sport Development Administrator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
