NSW juniors Kristina Brice, Paige Hadley, Kimberley Ravaillion and Gabi Simpson jetted off to Glasgow on Wednesday night (August 14) for the 2013 World Youth Netball Championships.
As part of the Australian 21/U World Youth Cup team, the quartet will compete against the best young netball talent from around the world, with 20 countries contesting the tournament from Thursday 22 to Saturday 31 August at Emirates Arena.
Selection in the Australian 21/U World Youth Cup team has been Hadley’s goal for more than two years and with that milestone ticked off, she now turns her attention to helping Australia bring home the Cup.
NSWSwiftsTV caught up with 20 year old Hadley before she left to see what the Aussie 21s has been working on in the lead up to the big event.
“I can’t believe it’s all happening. I’m so excited for it to start and just get out there and hit the court in Glasgow,” Hadley told NSWSwiftsTV.
